Trent Hayward has led Pine Canyon’s Racquets Program for over ten seasons, bringing exceptional expertise as a former world-ranked tennis player, NCAA Division I Team MVP, and Guinness World Record breaker. A standout on the PPA pro pickleball tour with a DUPR rating above 6.0, Trent is also a fully certified U.S.P.T.A. tennis and I.P.T.P.A. pickleball instructor.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Trent began coaching by volunteering with the Special Olympics before training full-time at IMG Academy in Florida. After directing racquet programs at several local clubs, he committed fully to Pine Canyon, where his coaching style emphasizes energy, encouragement, and fun. Off the courts, Trent enjoys hiking, biking, and exploring the trails around Flagstaff and beyond.
