Pine Canyon Fireplaces Bring Nostalgia Home

There’s something about a fire, especially when you’re surrounded by pine trees. Being outdoors, smelling the unmistakable scent of pine carried by a mountain breeze — it all just calls for a crackling fire.

And at Pine Canyon, we know how to do that, safely, during any season.

Our luxury cabins, set against the Coconino National Forest and among the country’s tallest stand of Ponderosa pines, make the most of their back decks, many of which are elevated offering spectacular views of Pine Canyon’s golf course or the San Francisco Peaks. And those decks make ideal platforms for outdoor, gas fireplaces, which are incorporated in many of our homes.

It’s our own version of a campfire, pulling in all the nostalgia while making the most of all the comforts of being home.

An alpine environment, Flagstaff enjoys snowy winters, with chilly nights and brisk mornings, all of which benefit from a warm fire, whether you’re in pajamas and slippers or returning from a hike in a puffer and boots.

The same goes for late summer evenings, often cooled by seasonal storms, creating a cozy atmosphere during nights that last just a little bit longer than those during the rest of the year.

The fireplaces at our cabins act as a centerpiece for gatherings with friends and family, calm companions for quiet moments alone, and pleasantly, warm sidekicks for days that come through with a chill in the air.

They’re just a part of how we live at Pine Canyon, during any season.
