Memorial Day – The Start Of Another Great Season At Pine Canyon
While Memorial Day is designated as a time to remember those who fought and died in the armed forces, it also ushers in the summer season. The weekend is generally filled with patriotic and seasonal festivities that may include American flags and cannonballs into the deep end of a swimming pool.
At Pine Canyon, the long weekend signals the start of our welcome summer season. To celebrate, we’ve planned four days of activities to inspire everyone’s spirit as the days get longer and warmer.
We plan to kick the weekend off on Friday by officially opening Camp Pine Canyon for the summer, followed by a “Build A Burger” night, kids games and a movie, and a par-3 challenge that tees off at 3 p.m.
Saturday begins with a fishing derby at Clubhouse Lake at 8:30 a.m., followed by our annual Showcase of Homes from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The fun-filled day will close with a cocktail reception from 4-6 p.m. featuring wine from the Sorso Wine Wagon and wood-fired pizza from Fat Olives.
Get your swing ready for Sunday, when a Demo Day Extravaganza takes over the 
driving range, allowing members to try out the latest golf equipment while enjoying food, beverages, prizes and live entertainment. The Showcase of Homes continues from 1-3 p.m., while Camp Pine Canyon will hold its summer kick-off party for the kids and Pine Canyon will host its Summer Season Celebration for adults that evening from 6-10 p.m.
Monday will be all about tennis, spa specials and fitness. Tennis brands will hold a demo event from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., while a lululemon trunk show is set for 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Throughout the weekend, spa special include two, 60-minute signature treatments for $186 or two, 90-minute signature treatments for $288.
It will be a jam-packed weekend of leisure, friends and activities, all designed to offer an opportunity for members to reconnect with neighbors and look ahead to the summer season at Pine Canyon.
