As this golf community in Flagstaff welcomes 2025, it’s a perfect time to reflect on the special moments that made 2024 unforgettable. Thanks to you—our members—Pine Canyon isn’t just a community; it’s a place where life feels a little more meaningful.
2024 Highlights
Breaking Ground on Ghost Tree
In 2024, we took an exciting step forward by breaking ground on the first Ghost Tree homes. As the last neighborhood within Pine Canyon’s gates, Ghost Tree marks a significant moment for our community. These homes represent the next chapter of life at Pine Canyon, and we’re eager to see them become part of the fabric of this special place.
Golf Course Irrigation Project
This year, we wrapped up our irrigation renovation project of the Pine Canyon golf course. While the work was challenging and impacted play in 2023, we are very excited to see the future benefits and improvements. The project aims to enhance the golf experience for our members and their guests while implementing more efficient watering practices to care for the course and the environment.
Fun on the Course
The golf course was buzzing with energy this year, offering a mix of competitive play and lighthearted fun. From dawn until dusk, members embraced every moment on the course. Themed events like our 90s-inspired Sip and Swing and Caddyshack-themed tournaments brought out everyone’s playful sides, while tournaments like the Rifleman and Calamity Jane showcased skill and created unforgettable moments—including some dramatic walk-off putts that kept the excitement alive.
Music Under the Stars
What’s summer in Northern Arizona without some outdoor music? Muted by the pines to those outside the gates, the Pine Canyon Summer Concert Series came alive with high energy and good vibes for everyone who joined in. The series kicked off over Memorial Day with a Jimmy Buffett tribute concert and ended on a high note with Piano Men: Generations lighting up the night over Labor Day weekend.
Celebrating Together
July 4th and Labor Day weekends are always an early mark on the calendar when a new year starts. Summer is defined in these two weekends and last year delivered in every way thanks to this wonderful community of people. From kids racing between inflatable slides to families bonding during the fishing derby and fun runs, these celebrations were a testament to the unspoken pact we all share: to live in the moment and create memories that matter.

Exploring the Great Outdoors
We’re thrilled to introduce our new Outdoor Recreation Program. Pine Canyon Outdoor Recreation aims to provide more organized and accessible opportunities to experience Arizona’s stunning landscapes. From hiking iconic trails and skiing at Arizona Snowbowl to kayaking the Colorado River and exploring our National Parks.
In addition, our team is here to help plan and guide personalized local day trips for our members. Whether you’d like a guided hike through the Grand Canyon for your family or an expertly planned adventure to a nearby destination, simply submit your desired adventure to Pine Canyon Outdoor Recreation and we will assist with every detail to ensure a seamless and memorable experience.
The Nest at the Driving Range
We’re excited to have The Nest, our driving range outdoor bar and patio, open all summer long. Warm fires, a cold drink, and a little friendly chirp to your friend about to take their swing down the range—what could be better?
Enhancing the Course’s Beauty
In 2025, we’re looking forward to further agronomic enhancements that will enrich the landscape and natural growth around the course. These improvements are designed to bring out the beauty of the fairways and greens making sure it remains a place where members and guests love to play.
