Join Us for Veteran Golf Day at Talking Rock
Nearly 500,000 veterans of the U.S military call Arizona home. On Monday, November 11, we’ll be hosting up to 100 of them at Talking Rock in Prescott, Arizona, for our annual Veteran Golf Day – a joint thank-you salute to their service from the Pine Canyon and Talking Rock communities.
This year’s event is totally free: Veterans of any branch of the U.S. military are invited to play a round with no greens fees and no cart fees. Tee times will start at 9am for Talking Rock members and 11am for non-members. In addition to a complimentary lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs from 11am–1pm, each participant will receive a Talking Rock golf hat.
Designed by legendary golf course architect Jay Morrish, Talking Rock’s championship layout has earned numerous accolades, including a #1 ranking in Golf Digest’s list of Arizona’s Best Courses. The front nine moves through stretches of natural terrain, including juniper, native grasses and scrub pine forest, with show-stopping views of Granite Mountain. On the back nine, the elevation climbs and the rugged terrain requires players to adjust their game to finish strong.
We appreciate the sacrifices our veterans have made – and look forward to providing a fantastic day for them out on the course!
If you’re a veteran or know a veteran who would enjoy a day on Talking Rock golf course, RSVP by November 7 to [email protected] or 928-493-2606. Please make your reservation soon, since we can accommodate a maximum of 100 tee times for the event! Currently, we only have tee times available between 2:30 -3pm.
