Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon National Park, one of the world’s most unique places sought out by millions each year for its rare beauty and vast features, is only about 90 minutes from Flagstaff. An absolute specimen of natural erosion, the park is carved by the mighty Colorado River and dives a jaw-dropping mile deep.

Visitors enjoy camping in designated sites, exploring the rim, hiking in or discovering all of the canyon’s backcountry beauty. The park is one of those destinations that can be what its visitors want – from a day trip to a sunset spot and a multi-day camping excursion to a trek back millions of years to the bottom of the canyon.

The Grand Canyon is at-once overwhelming, inspiring, stunning and confounding. It is a bucket list destination, with multiple access points from the north or south, offering different perspectives from each.
