Easter Festivities
Easter is late this year, but its late arrival brings with it a hopeful promise of warmer weather. At Pine Canyon, we welcome it, because those 700 eggs we plan to hide won’t find themselves. And we think it’s easier for pint-sized egg hunters to search when the weather cooperates.
As we did last year, we will host the annual egg hunt on Saturday, and host brunch on Easter Sunday at the club. And you’ll want to be at both. Trust us.
The Easter Bunny has already RSVP’d for the big hunt on Saturday, which will go from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and will include spring crafts, egg dying and photos with the bunny. The Easter Bunny is also bringing special baskets for whoever finds the two golden egg that will be hidden among the hundreds of other colored eggs.

Running around and looking for eggs will burn a few calories before our annual Easter brunch, which will be available at two seating times this year, at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. The carving station, with crispy pork porchetta and prime beef striploin, will be complemented by grilled scallop skewers, roasted tomatoes, grilled asparagus, and a baked potato bar.
And, if breakfast is more attractive, the brunch will feature a chicken chorizo omelet and a Beeler’s smoked bacon and pork sausage omelet, along with starters that include cinnamon rolls, muffins and tea breads, Greek yogurt, granola, seasonal fruit, fresh berries, and a French toast station.
A buffet that caters to kids will feature all the favorites, including macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets and pizza. And, age is no barrier at the dessert table, which will include chocolate-dipped strawberries, mini cupcakes, a berry shortcake parfait, key lime tartlets, and flourless chocolate bites.
