Adjusting, For Amenity Access
Pine Canyon’s amenities have largely been off-limits for the past 60 days as we followed suggested guidelines for safety aimed at minimizing the spread of COVID-19. Knowing how our amenities add to the overall lifestyle at Pine Canyon, it’s been a tough couple of months making due without them while finding creative ways to deliver on our promise of unmatched hospitality.
The challenges we’ve experienced make our efforts to reopen that much more exciting. We’ve taken this time to adjust our procedures, sanitize our public spaces, and train our staff members on the new processes we’ve put in place to protect our team members, our owners, and our members.
We began with a modified version of Camp Pine Canyon last week, offering access to the pool area by reservation. We will be expanding access to Camp Pine Canyon this week, offering traditional camp programming for a limited number of kids, before we reassess hours and capacity in the coming days.
Our clubhouse, open to just half of its capacity to follow social distancing guidelines, has also been open since last week. Our staff members are equipped with masks and gloves, and reservations are limited to parties of six or less. We sanitize tables in between reservations and we are continuing to offer the curbside takeout service we began offering this spring.
We plan to open our fitness center tomorrow, making the indoor workout facility available by reservation, limiting its capacity to just eight people at a time. And, we plan to open our spa by appointment tomorrow.
It’s all been an adjustment, from closing to reimagining the way we provide service to reopening, in phases. We’re grateful that our members and owners have shown patience during this season of isolation, and we look forward to moving ahead — safely — while still creating an environment of refuge that Pine Canyon owners and members so appreciate.
