A Need To Retreat Persists
Pine Canyon, a private golf community in Flagstaff, Arizona, was always designed as a refuge. A community of luxury cabins, Pine Canyon is tucked into a stand of Ponderosa pine trees that climb toward the clear mountain skies.
It’s a special setting. And people seemed to crave it this year. In the midst of global uncertainty, Pine Canyon served as an anchor for tranquility, connection and space when those were hard to find elsewhere.
During a most troublesome year, our Pine Canyon real estate team found itself with very little downtime as people turned to this community to find an alpine retreat for themselves and experience an amenity-rich lifestyle fueled by a sense of hospitality that is difficult to find in other residential communities.
In fact, Symmetry Realty Brokerage, a brokerage exclusive to Pine Canyon, closed nearly $80 million in real estate transactions, including developer homes, developer homesites and luxury resales. The average homesite closed for nearly $420,000 while the most prolific developer home sold for more than $1.9 million in Coconino Ridge.
While we added dozens of new members to our club this year, we also welcomed a number of new owners who found a resale property or new home that fit their needs. With their plans in motion, those new owners will likely be enjoying their new Pine Canyon retreat this time next year, preparing for traditional holiday gatherings surrounded by family and friends.
The energy at Pine Canyon is unmistakable. People are drawn to it on a good day, and even more so when space and connection become priorities.
Up here, space and connection are two of our specialties.
